Registrations for the 2020 academic year went smoothly at Waterberg TVET College. To ensure the smooth running of the registration process, the College had a detailed registration roadmap that they made sure to follow.  The College
made sure to keep students regularly updated regarding the registration dates via sms and the College’s Facebook page beforehand.

The first three days focusing on registering new students and those on the waiting list. The College made sure to prioritise those students who received smses to come and register,
those who have already applied and wrote their cap tests.

The rest of the two days focused more on returning students. These students were assisted with their registration process including helping with invoices and results as well as assisting with their NSFAS application processes. Working off of particular lists formulated by the College has proven to be effective in managing queuing
systems and avoiding stampedes.

The 2020 registration period proved to be a really successful one with all the courses filled with students, including some of the newly introduced courses such as safety and society.

The online application system was also essential in avoiding late applications from students who have come afar seeking space to enrol as they were able to submit their applications in a timely manner online.
