In 2006, the Waterberg FET College introduced Primary Agriculture students to the college own Agriculture Centre (Rooywal Farm) near Sterkrivier, about 40 km from Mokopane Town.

Primary Agriculture students make use of the farm every Wednesday to do practical work.

The Kopano Learning Project also started in 2008 on the farm with the purpose of gaining experience, information and assisting the community with fresh vegetables.

The Kopano Learning Project grow vegetables like spinach, green pepper, spring onion, cabbage, tomatoes and beetroot. The project is producing healthy products as the following is taken into consideration: soil texture and structure, climatic conditions, suitable irrigation methods, topography and soil type.

The Primary Agriculture student also started a new project with SANTA under the Mogalakwena Municipality to help orphans and HIV/AIDS victims to get healthy and nutritious food
